Graham is a restructuring specialist; his expertise include operational performance improvement and debt restructuring. His sector experience includes hospitality and leisure, retail as well as transport and logistics.
Graham is a managing director in the restructuring and insolvency practice and is head of the South West and South Wales region. He has over 30 years’ experience and his work includes debt restructuring, shareholder disputes, advising on more effective cash management, operational performance improvement, strategy planning, options analyses, managed exits, accelerated sales, orderly closures and guiding the most distressed companies through an insolvency process. Graham has a proven track record of rescuing companies and businesses as going concerns, delivering the maximum return to stakeholders and preserving employment. Graham covers a broad range of industries with specific expertise in hospitality and leisure, retail, property, engineering, transport and logistics, contracting and manufacturing.
Recent work includes advising on debt restructuring and negotiation of repayment holidays with a large group of funders owed in excess of £100 million, assisting minority shareholders in resolving a shareholder dispute where an alternative firm had suggested an insolvency process, the sale of the shares of a £12 million steel stockholder thereby avoiding imminent administration, sales of other businesses using the prepack administration process saving numerous jobs, solvent and insolvent winding ups and successfully selling a business operating from 31 stores at a national retailer where a competing insolvency firm had earlier failed to find a buyer.
Graham joined Quantuma in April 2014 having previously been a partner at a mid-tier firm for 12 years and having held senior roles at a number of national practices. Away from work, Graham spends time with his family, enjoys travelling, following the ups and many downs of Leeds United and listening to a wide range of music.
