George advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, both buy-side and sell-side, helping shareholders achieve their goals and maximise value. With in-depth experience across several sectors and deal types, George is able to provide strategic, commercial advice and decision-making insight to clients to drive and protect investment value through the deal process.

He works closely with corporates and private equity houses and typically advises clients on lower and mid-market deals.  

In his previous role in the Big Four, George predominantly advised clients undertaking M&A activity in the Energy and Natural resources sector.

He was also seconded to UK Government Investments for 12 months where he advised the Government on its response to major M&A transactions and helped to structure its direct investment into a major infrastructure project.
 

About George

George is an ACA-qualified chartered accountant and describes himself as a ‘people person’, taking pride in delivering excellent client service and working collaboratively with businesses to find commercial solutions.

Outside of work, George is a keen runner and is currently training for his third marathon. He enjoys live music, cooking and reading, particularly history books and novels.
