Yin is a Restructuring and Insolvency director having worked in Insolvency since 2008. Prior to this she qualified as a solicitor in 2002.
Yin has a particular interest in complex UK and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. She often acts for a wide range of stakeholders including directors, financial institutions, corporate entities and bond holders suffering financial difficulties.
Yin’s wide variety of sector experience ranges from property and construction through to hospitality and leisure, although her main focus has recently been the assignment of an insolvent Residential Property development with investment of £150 million.
Yin has significant experience with clients within the Asian community.Personable and approachable, Yin endeavours to obtain the best result for all stakeholders.
Yin qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and has over 20 years’ experience specialising in insolvency. She worked in private practice before qualifying as a licensed Insolvency Practitioner, working for a boutique insolvency practice for 13 years where she acted on a range of corporate insolvencies.
Yin is also a board member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and sits on the Serious Disciplinary Panel at the Football Association (FA), where she presides over the most serious charges, notably, discrimination, assault, and physical contact on match officials.
Away from work, Yin is a keen amateur photographer and has exhibited her work. She also enjoys travelling to remote places.
