Specialist Expertise

Andrea's specialist expertise includes Administrations, CVLs and compulsory liquidations and he has worked on multiple cross-border cases predominantly focusing on Italy and the BVI.

Andrea is licenced to practice law in Italy, being registered at the Milan Bar Association, and is an expert in the legal aspects of an Italian insolvency at the University of Milan Bicocca.

He works with overseas companies on the winding down of UK operations and supports other insolvency professionals in cross-border UK and Italian proceedings where coordination between the two countries is key due to differences in UK insolvency law and Italian insolvency frameworks.

During his career, Andrea has worked across multiple sectors with expertise in fashion, business services, professional services, and retail. Most recently, Andrea has been involved in the liquidation of the high-profile Italian fashion brand, La Perla, before it was sold in September 2025, and he negotiated the first Cross-Border Insolvency Protocol involving Italy and the UK after Brexit with the Italian Authorities.

About Andrea

Andrea worked as a trainee lawyer in a number of legal practices in Italy, before settling in the UK and joining a London-based insolvency firm as a case administrator. 

Prior to joining Quantuma, he worked for one of the UK’s top accountancy firms, handling a substantial and varied caseload encompassing personal bankruptcies, corporate administrations, and financial investigations.

Outside of work, Andrea visits museums and historical sites, with Portsmouth Historic Dockyards among his favourites. He is also an opera and classical music enthusiast and enjoys wine tasting in Italy and whisky tasting in Scotland.
