Based out of our London office, Sian has extensive knowledge in all areas of corporate insolvency and restructuring, with a predominant focus on administrations, liquidations and investigations into suspected fraud.

Specialist expertise

Sian is an insolvency and restructuring specialist experienced in the recovery of assets for the benefit of creditors, both with and without litigation, whilst being commercial and pragmatic.

Sian’s clients are multinational and are from a wide variety of industries ranging from unregulated bond investing to farming and agriculture, tech, property, hospitality and entertainment.

Sian has utilised forensic accounting and asset tracing techniques to identify several suspected Ponzi schemes and investment frauds. She has engaged in contentious litigation in the UK, Spain and Germany and has experience managing a large portfolio of varied work, including but not limited to, a large international portfolio of solvent liquidations for a blue-chip M&A client in the UK and US wishing to withdraw from the industry in a tax-efficient manner.

In addition, Sian deals with trading administrations, specifically the day-to-day sales operations and employment matters and has also successfully led a Section 127 debt recovery exercise which included defending applications for retrospective validation in the Court and recovering over £1.5m in Company assets.

Sian also has experience in dealing with S110 restructures and independent business reviews.

About Sian

Sian gained her first taste of insolvency and restructuring during her placement year at Loughborough University for a firm in London, following which she was offered a graduate role. 

When Sian is not hiking up a mountain she is whipping up a storm in the kitchen and trying new foods. She is also an aunt to three amazing nieces and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible, before they begin to think she is not cool anymore!

Sian is also studying towards her ACCA qualification.
