Specialist expertise
Scott advises on UK national insurance, national minimum wage, and the coronavirus job retention scheme. He also specialises in the construction industry scheme (CIS) and onshore and offshore intermediaries (agencies) legislation.
His clients include employers and employees from both small, locally owned businesses and large international corporations. He helps employers to implement new employment policies and address employment tax-related issues arising from due diligence and supports them through HMRC compliance checks.
He helps clients to minimise the effects of recent changes in employment tax and related legislation by using his significant understanding and expertise.
About Scott
Scott qualified with the Association of Taxation Technicians in 2011 and as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2014. He has worked in house for an engineering company and for a number of mid-tier accountancy firms, working his way up from employment tax manager to director.
Outside of work, Scott is the third generation of a family of builders. He runs his own property company, giving him a unique practical insight into the CIS issues facing his construction clients.
