Richard is a director in the forensic accounting team and his expertise includes loss of profit claims, investigations, expert witness and advisory work.

Richard has 20 years' experience working on civil and criminal matters having worked on a wide range of assignments covering a broad range of business and industries. Richard’s experience covers loss of profit claims, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, investigations, frauds, criminal defence, criminal confiscations and business valuations. Richard has spent nine months on secondment at the Serious Fraud Office.

In one of Richard’s recent cases, he managed a team that investigated an alleged property fraud which also involved undertaking several tracing exercises to show both the flow and use of funds. The analysis prepared was then used to obtain worldwide freezing orders against a number of individuals. Another recent case Richard was involved in was a long-running partnership dispute where he managed a team that prepared a detailed ten-year review of the financial records of a business and was able to allocate the income and costs to a number of different projects that formed part of this dispute.

About Richard

Richard attended the University of Kent at Canterbury where he gained a BA (Hons) in Economics. Richard qualified as a chartered accountant at a top 10 accountancy firm and then joined the Forensic Accounting team at another leading accountancy firm. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), an associate member of The Academy of Experts and an associate member of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Richard joined Quantuma from a boutique forensic accounting firm. 

Away from work, Richard enjoys watching sport, in particular football, and he also enjoys travelling.
