Paul is a Director in our Forensic Accounting & Investigations team in Glasgow, specialising in forensic accounting and expert witness.

Specialist expertise

Paul provides forensic accounting and expert witness services on behalf of solicitors, insurers, prosecuting authorities, companies, insolvency practitioners and private individuals. He frequently prepares reports for civil and criminal cases as part of the defence or prosecution.

Paul has a particular specialism in business valuations relating to shareholder or partnership disputes, matrimonial valuations, personal injury loss of earnings, quantification of loss in commercial disputes, and consequential loss claims. In criminal cases, he focuses on financial crime and fraud investigations, proceeds of crime act reporting, and insolvency-led investigations.

Paul works with a wide range of clients and across a number of sectors including farming, retail, financial services and professional services.

About Paul

Paul is a Chartered Certified Accountant, qualifying at a mid-tier firm in 2004. Initially, he focused on providing accountancy services to owner-managed businesses ranging in turnover from £1m to £20m and corporate finance advice to small and medium-sized corporates, before turning his attention to forensic accounting. 

Paul is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Outside of work, he enjoys playing bowls and spending time with his three cats and two dogs.
