Neil is a Manager in the Restructuring and Insolvency team and is based in Southampton.

Specialist expertise

Neil has extensive experience dealing with large-scale administrations involving large creditor groups, press interest, and often concerning complex issues.  He has particular expertise in dealing with property related matters, investments gone wrong, and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) related activities. As well as creditors and stakeholders, Neil regularly advises a wide range of clients from corporates to banks.

Neil has dealt with a wide range of advisory and restructuring assignments. Recent administrations have included working on the restructure and exit of a large-scale investment scheme with 19 properties and over 2000 creditors; the trading administration of a holiday park owned by investors in a failed investment scheme; as well as an FCA regulated IFA network, where the business was transferred via pre-pack to minimise the impact on the clients of 100 Appointed Representatives.

Neil was involved in the liquidation of an FCA regulated SIPP/SASS operator, when an effective plan and communications were put in place in accordance with FCA requirements to deal with 600 plus clients. He has also had oversight and project management on behalf of a bank to assist with the completion of sale of 33 residential and 3 commercial properties.

About Neil

Neil is a qualified accountant and a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, R3, he has worked in the insolvency industry for 18 years and joined Quantuma in 2018.

Throughout his life Neil has trained and competed in various combat sports and had the privilege of training with and alongside many professionals and world champions, although that has largely gone on hold since becoming a father in 2018.
