Luke specialises in large and complex restructuring engagements in Asia and plays an essential role in managing global mandates for clients throughout the region, whilst working closely with the wider firm. He is regularly appointed as Chief Restructuring Officer, guiding companies through the restructuring process, often using court protection locally and abroad. His expertise in this area allows him to reposition companies and turn them around, extracting maximum value for clients.

As a licensed insolvency practitioner, Luke takes formal appointments in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda, and is often assigned to complex cross-border investigations and asset recovery matters.

His vast technical knowledge and high ethical and quality standards enable him to quickly understand, manage, and drive forward complex cross-border insolvencies, often involving multi-jurisdictional litigation and asset recoveries.

Luke works with many of the world’s leading hedge funds, private equity firms, legal advisors and company boards. He also has particular expertise across a broad range of sectors, including real estate, retail, manufacturing and commodities.

About Luke

Luke started his career in Australia, working with a leading restructuring and insolvency firm before moving to Asia in 2013. After working with some of the region’s leading practitioners, he established an office in Singapore for a market-leading boutique firm. After a successful three years with the firm, he joined Quantuma in 2022 to launch and grow our presence in Asia.

Outside of work, Luke is a keen sportsman, and you will often find him training for upcoming triathlons or endurance races.
