In addition to M&A, George has experience in transaction services, having previously worked on several financial due diligence engagements, which have provided him with insight into both sides of the transaction process. 

He takes great satisfaction in identifying and solving complex problems that arise during the transaction process and works closely with his clients building strong relationships. He prides himself on understanding their particular requirements, so he can deliver an exceptional, value-adding service that maximises shareholder value. He typically works with lower to mid-market corporate clients and private equity houses that focus on this market. 

George initially trained in audit at a mid-tier accountancy firm, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2019, before leaving to join a Big Four firm as an audit assistant manager. Here, he primarily worked with small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors, including healthcare, retail and real estate.

George is a member of the ICAEW and has a degree in Biotechnology and Microbiology from the University of York.

Outside of work, George is a long-distance runner, regularly competing in races. When not running, he plays and supports football and enjoys travelling and discovering new places.
