In our fourth accredited CPD course of 2023, delivered in conjunction with leading training provider Tolley, we looked at a range of issues relating to entrepreneurs.

We were delighted to welcome back Ros Martin, experienced tax consultant and lecturer. Her session focused on the recent developments and key areas of concern for professionals advising entrepreneurial clients.

The three-hour CPD session broadly covers:

  • A summary of changes to research and development tax reliefs from April 2023
  • Patent box tax relief – the advantages and what needs to be done to meet the criteria
  • Employment related securities – a review of approved share schemes
  • The pitfalls and problems of EIS and SEIS
  • Business asset disposal relief and exit planning for entrepreneurs

The webinar is part of the K3 Hub training and events programme. In 2021, we launched the K3 Hub – a member network for professional advisers developed by K3 Capital Group Limited.
