Webinar
Online webinar
In our seventh accredited CPD course of 2023 for professional advisers, we will revisit employment law and the essentials you need to know – from recruitment and retention through to termination.
We are delighted to welcome back Toni Trevett, experienced HR practitioner specialising in employment law and employee relations.
Toni will provide an overview of the UK’s key employment legislation as well as the practical issues of incorporating this into your day-to-day dealings with employees. Employment law, in particular, is an area subject to significant change, and the webinar covers a number of important areas giving you a solid practical approach to recruitment, retention and termination.
The three-hour session will focus on:
- Recruitment and interviewing
- Contracts of employment
- Employment status
- Bullying, discrimination and harassment
- Disciplinary procedures
- Grievances and employee complaints
- Managing fair dismissals, including redundancy
This session is suitable for all professional advisers, people managers, business managers and business advisers who need to have an awareness of employment law in order to assess the impact recent developments may have on businesses both large and small.
The webinar is part of the K3 Hub training and events programme. In 2021, we launched the K3 Hub – a member network for professional advisers developed by K3 Capital Group Limited.
All our courses are free to attend and delegates quality for three hours of structured CPD if attending this live session being delivered by Tolley on our behalf.
