Cross-border advisory firm Quantuma has appointed restructuring expert, Tracey Pye as a managing director. Joining Quantuma’s Restructuring & Insolvency team, Tracey will be based in Manchester, and she will also spend time in the firm’s Leeds office.

Tracey is a qualified accountant and a licenced insolvency practitioner who has an extensive restructuring and insolvency background. She specialises in supporting companies facing financial challenges or a significant change. Her experience spans a wide variety of Northern based business clients. Tracey’s sector expertise includes retail, hospitality, automotive and professional financial services.

Tracey joins Quantuma from an independent boutique advisory practice based in Manchester, where she was a managing director. Prior to this, she held senior roles with  independent business advisory firms, as well as senior roles with global accounting firms, including Big 4.

A seasoned restructuring insolvency practitioner, Tracey works with underperforming businesses and their stakeholders, including banks, asset-based lenders and private equity houses, to deliver best outcomes. Tracey regularly works alongside boards and management teams who are faced with either a financial challenge, or a significant transformational change.

Tracey’s arrival at Quantuma follows the recent appointment of Scott Peters, who joined the firm as a managing director in the firm’s Birmingham office in August 2024.

On her appointment, Tracey Pye commented:

“I am very pleased to join Quantuma and to be working with such a strong team. I welcome the opportunity to play my part in increasing our capabilities in the Northwest region and supporting the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

I look forward to working alongside colleagues in Quantuma’s Restructuring & Insolvency team to deliver best outcomes for clients both old and new alike.”

Quantuma managing director Jeremy Woodside responded:

“We are delighted to welcome Tracey to our growing Restructuring & Insolvency team in Manchester. Her arrival adds further senior expertise to our team, enabling us to further support even more business clients. Tracey is very well connected in the Northwest, and we are delighted she is joining us at such an exciting time, as we expand our regional presence.”
