Greg is a restructuring and insolvency specialist, based in London. He predominantly deals with small to medium-sized enterprises in a range of sectors.

Specialist expertise

The majority of the insolvency assignments Greg undertakes are administrations and creditor voluntary liquidations. He is usually involved in the early stages of an assignment, providing advice and strategy to directors as well as other stakeholders, remaining the main point of contact throughout.

Over the last 15 years of working in insolvency, Greg has worked on many assignments for a wide variety of business including restaurants, bars, nightclubs, a golf club in Essex and a country club. He also handled the special administrations of two separate Financial Conduct Authority regulated entities, a brokerage firm and an investment bank, which were at the time the fifth and sixth orders made since the introduction of the Special Administration Regimes (SARs) in 2011. As a result of his work, Greg was invited to meet the draftsman at the Insolvency Service to discuss how SARs worked in practice and asked to suggest amendments that could improve the regime.
