Gena is a forensic accountant and director; her expertise includes valuation, asset tracing, investigation, financial modelling, expert witness and advisory work.

Specialist expertise

Gena has worked in forensic accounting for over five years and has worked on a broad range of cases across several jurisdictions and many industries.

She has experience in civil, criminal and insurance-related matters, including valuation, matrimonial disputes, personal injury, compulsory purchase, criminal defence, criminal confiscations and investigations. She recently spent three months working on a large insurance matter in Newport Beach, California. In addition, Gena has undertaken a number of complex asset-tracing cases and as a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker, she often takes a leading role in some of our cross-border assignments.

As well as undertaking forensic accounting investigations, Gena also works with the restructuring and insolvency teams to enhance investigations into the use and management of funds.

About Gena

Gena is a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker, and also speaks German and French. She holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge and a MA from the University of East Anglia in Forensic Linguistics and Translation. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Before joining Quantuma, Gena was a forensic accountant at a boutique forensic accounting firm.

Outside of work, Gena enjoys reading and travelling.
