Senior Manager
Restructuring & Insolvency
Specialist expertise
Gemma is a senior manager in the insolvency team and is the first point of contact for new clients at the Bournemouth office. Responsible for managing a small team, Gemma's approach entails always listening to clients first, so that she and her team can both achieve the best possible outcome as well as ensure that the insolvency process is as stress-free for them as possible.
Prior to joining Quantuma, Gemma started her career as a receptionist for a Southampton-based firm of insolvency practitioners, but after only four months, she quickly proved her ability and was asked to take over the entire bankruptcy department. Never one to turn down a challenge, Gemma embraced the opportunity and has since spent 20 years in insolvency building up a large and varied portfolio. Her clients include both individuals and corporates, including restaurants, bespoke furniture makers, fancy dress shops and aviation equipment manufacturers.
Gemma successfully sat the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency exam and holds an NVQ in Business Management. She is currently enrolled on the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales' Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business course.
