Specialist Expertise
Gary provides an array of forensic accounting services on behalf of solicitors, insurers, prosecuting authorities, companies, and private individuals. He also assists in preparing reports for civil and criminal cases as part of the defence and prosecution.
Gary’s specialisms are focused on preparing business valuations relating to shareholder or partnership disputes, matrimonial valuations, personal injury loss of earnings, quantification of loss in commercial disputes, and consequential loss claims. In criminal cases, he focuses on financial crime and fraud investigations, proceeds of crime act reporting, and insolvency-led investigations.
He has worked with and advised a wide range of clients across various sectors, including professional services, biotech, pharmaceutical, hospitality and leisure, retail, energy and renewables, construction, forestry, and agriculture.
About Gary
Prior to joining Quantuma, Gary spent over 10 years working in a variety of diverse accounting and tax roles, ranging from Top 10 and large multinationals to a variety of mid-tier accountancy firms based in Glasgow. He has a strong background in accountancy and tax compliance services, with particular expertise in financial reporting and tax planning, financial advisory and business decision support, financial forecasting, and IFRS and UK GAAP.
Outside of work, Gary is a keen sportsman and gym-goer and enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
