Against the backdrop of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic, the panellists will look at the regulatory environment in which firms continue to operate, as well as:

  • The high-level endemic challenges prevalent across all practices;
  • The costs of getting back to work;
  • The practical difficulties in transacting; and
  • Finance solutions and being proactive about raising funds.

The webinar takes the form of a discussion between our sector experts Andrew Hosking and Sean Bucknall, who are widely regarded as the market-leaders in advising distressed law firms and other professional practices. They are joined by Samantha Palmer from Pinsent Masons LLP, a specialist in the professional services sector. The discussion is chaired by Mark Lucas, a partner in our corporate finance team.

During the webinar we also take a look at a worked example to illustrate what the journey to a transaction looks like considering the unique challenges faced by professional practice firms.
