Webinar
Online webinar
In our seventh accredited CPD course of 2025, delivered by leading training provider Tolley, we will explore the deployment of Artificial Intelligence in the tax world and the likely impact on tax advisers.

AI is increasingly being used by both advisers and revenue authorities. Tax authorities around the world have started to use AI tools to assist with gathering, collating and using information. This is likely to be seen in an increased pace of investigations. They are also using AI to answer queries which can result in significant challenges in terms of dealing with correspondence.

This course looks at how to plan and utilise the opportunities AI offers, the potential threat it poses and its limitations.

In this three-hour session, participants will learn more about:

  • The differences between machine learning and generative AI
  • The importance of databases
  • What AI can and cannot do
  • Overhauling processes and procedures – the opportunities
  • Ethical and safeguarding issues

Used properly, AI can transform the workings of a tax practitioner. Used badly, AI can lead to distress and disaster. The webinar will guide you through best practice in this evolving area.

The event will take place virtually on Zoom. All our courses are free to attend and delegates qualify for three hours of structured CPD*.

*Please note, CPD not available if watching a recording of the webinar on demand.
