Richard's experience includes assisting clients to buy or sell companies, securing investment for high-value project finance, raising equity capital for high-tech early-stage companies and understanding the impact of complex business decisions.

Over the last few years, Richard has worked on deals across a wide range of sectors, including robotics and artificial intelligence, hospitality & leisure, renewable energy & infrastructure, healthcare, manufacturing and recruitment, for both entrepreneurs and private equity investors.

Richard’s financial modelling experience leverages his ability to work with clients to understand business intricacies and devise simple solutions to complex challenges during high-pressure deal environments.

Prior to working in corporate finance, Richard worked for an international accountancy firm, leading the commercial development of award-wining software packages used by high-street lenders and investment houses to monitor their clients’ financial health. This enabled him to gain an understanding of the operational challenges of managing businesses with competing priorities and limited resources.

About Richard

Richard is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He trained within the specialist financial modelling and valuations team of an international accountancy firm before moving into mergers and acquisitions.

Richard’s interests outside of work include scuba diving, skiing, photography and exploring slightly unusual holiday destinations in search of jungles, coral reefs and animals.
