Mark is a creditor services specialist; his expertise include proactively managing and implementing efficient collections activity. His sector experience includes peer-to-peer lending, construction and legal.
Mark is head of Quantuma’s creditor services division, which manages insolvent and live debtor portfolios for a range of clients including credit providers, finance house and lenders’ service companies.
He works with clients to increase collections in both insolvent and live debtor scenarios. This includes the management of any insolvency that a client is notified of, data mapping in respect of live client portfolios, and providing advice as well as assistance in respect of any collections activity. Mark’s team works with peer-to-peer lenders, crowd funders and mainstream finance houses. They also work with clients in the construction and legal sectors.
Mark has been instrumental in assisting clients implement a cohesive strategy around collections activity as well as providing detailed analysis and management information of their clients. He has recently been advising one client on how to devise and implement a new strategy around corporate debt, where personal guarantees are obtained by the client but not acted on. This resulted in significant returns being made when corporate failures had previously resulted in no returns. He also helped the client to put a new corporate lending structure in place.
Mark has worked in creditor services in the insolvency sector for 30 years. Before he joined Quantuma to establish a new creditor services division in 2017, he set up of a creditor services team with another large national practice.
Much of Mark’s spare time is spent with his children, including spending days shopping with his daughter, eating out and going to the cinema. He plays football weekly (or tries to!) and loves to travel (short or long distance) when he gets the chance.
