Taz is a Managing Director and insolvency practitioner within our Restructuring & Insolvency team. He specialises in both corporate and personal insolvency matters and advises clients here in the UK and works closely with our team in Dubai.

Specialist expertise

Taz is an experienced restructuring and insolvency expert and provides advice on both corporate and personal restructuring and insolvency assignments as well as investigations into misfeasance and asset recovery. He has been taking insolvency and restructuring appointments as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in the UK and on cross-border matters for more than 10 years.

Taz provides expert advice to distressed businesses, implementing strategies to assist with turnaround and recovery and covering both formal and informal options. He supports clients throughout the whole process and always strives to achieve the best possible outcome whether that is for business rescue, recovery, or insolvency. 

Recent examples of work he has done on cross-border matters includes leading an asset recovery assignment of a UAE Company, which was a subsidiary of a BVI Company. And the implementation of a restructuring plan in accordance with UAE insolvency legislation to allow a large LLC sufficient time to refinance its debts and continue to trade.

About Tauseef

Taz began his career in 2003 and trained with a large, international accountancy firm before joining Kingsland Business Recovery in 2011.

Outside of work, Taz enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is a huge sports fan and particularly enjoys playing a round of golf whenever he can. He also follows cricket and is a big fan of Liverpool FC.
