Sean is a managing director and a licensed insolvency practitioner in the restructuring team, based in Brighton. He has advised a wide range of small to medium-sized enterprises facing financial and operational distress, working with management teams as well as their advisers to overcome the challenges they face.
Sean is one of the leading advisers in the UK to distressed law firms. He heads up the firm’s professional practices specialist group with Andrew Hosking. Sean’s expertise and unique insight is frequently sought by both advisers to law firms as well as the firms themselves. He has advised on some of the largest legal failures in the UK, including Jeffrey Green Russell and more recently, Roberts Jackson Limited. He is also joint administrator of King & Wood Malleson, which is the largest legal failure to date in Europe.
Sean’s clients benefit from his clear, robust and solutions-led advice, which enables him to maximise creditor returns and job rescues. Stakeholders in the legal sector also benefit from his experience, deep sector knowledge and his technical expertise. Sean has an excellent relationship with the Solicitors Regulation Authority, with whom he maintains clear lines of communication on all legal sector client matters and has an intervention-free track record on all legal sector matters he has advised on.
About Sean
Sean is a licensed insolvency practitioner and holds the Joint Insolvency Examination Board qualification. He is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
Prior to joining Quantuma in 2013, he held roles in the restructuring departments of a number of mid-tier and boutique firms.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his young family. He is a keen sportsman, following the fortunes of Brighton and Hove Albion. He is a regular at his local gym and, when time allows, he enjoys perfecting his skills on the golf course.
