Richard is a licensed insolvency practitioner in our Restructuring & Insolvency team and head of our Birmingham office.
Specialist expertise
Richard is a Director in the Restructuring and Insolvency team. He has more than 15 years’ experience advising company directors, secured lenders and other key stakeholders across a variety of distressed situations. He has worked on a wide range of corporate insolvency assignments of both a transactional and complex nature.
Richard’s recent work portfolio includes assignments across multiple sectors including property, professional services, leisure and sport. Richard is also working on large litigation assignments. His historic experience includes a group of UK property companies with international group companies, the trading and lease assignment of a London nightclub, the pre-packed sale of a restaurant chain, the liquidation of wine investment companies, as well as the solvent restructure of a group of unlimited liability companies.
About Richard
Richard is a licensed insolvency practitioner and a member of both the Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. He obtained an honours degree in Economics from the University of Bristol, graduating in 2003. After university he worked in industry for two years, before joining a small boutique insolvency firm. He then moved to a top 10 accountancy firm in 2007 before joining Quantuma in 2014.
Outside of work Richard is a keen follower of many sports and enjoys spending time with his young family.
