Rehan is a managing director and an insolvency practitioner working within the restructuring and insolvency team based mainly within the Bradford office. He is also regularly seen in the other Northern and Midland offices. On a daily basis, Rehan is involved in providing advice to distressed companies on their formal and informal options whilst implementing strategies to assist with turnaround and recovery.
Rehan has a vast network of accountants and professionals who introduce clients who require his services. The majority of the clients he deals with are directors and shareholders in small to medium-sized enterprises. Although Rehan has dealt with many sectors over his career, he has gained a reputation of assisting businesses in the manufacturing, construction, food and retail sectors.
Having run his own practice, Rehan is able to relate to many directors and shareholders in understanding some of the more smaller, practical issues they may come across when undertaking certain procedures and processes. He is often able to implement the legal procedures in a more practical and constructive manner to the business owners.
After undertaking all the training required to become a solicitor, Rehan decided to reject training contract offers and started working in an insolvency practice in Manchester, where he specialised in personal insolvency. During his time here, he helped grow the business from 10 to 150 staff, whilst also helping to set up various departments within the business to streamline operations and make the firm more efficient. Following this, he set up his own insolvency practice.
Outside of work, Rehan spends a lot of time with his two young boys who certainly keep him occupied with their extra-curricular activities. He has a huge interest in sports and during the summer weekends he can be found playing cricket for his local team as well as hacking his way around a golf course or playing football.
