Specialist expertise

Maxine prides herself on providing a high-quality service to business owners of corporate entities or partnerships and individuals who find themselves in need of expert advice when in a position of financial or business unrest. She specialises in corporate restructures and solvent liquidations, usually working with a client’s accountants when shareholders are looking to maximise their return when exiting a business. She also works in informal and formal restructures along with cases involving asset tracing, litigation and investigations of fraudulent activity.

Maxine always works cohesively with her clients, delivering tailored solutions and advice. She takes time to explain all the options available to them in a human and empathetic way. She has assisted with restructures in a range of sectors including, charities, hospitality, retail, technology and care homes.

About Maxine

Maxine holds the Joint Insolvency Examination Board qualification and the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, was a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and is an R3 member sitting on the London and South East Region LASER committee and is head of the sub-committee for the Sussex region of LASER.

She began her restructuring career in 2002 at a mid-tier accountancy firm. In 2006 she moved to a boutique insolvency firm, and in 2011 she joined another mid-tier accountancy firm as a director and appointment-taking insolvency practitioner, becoming a partner in 2015. Maxine joined Quantuma in February 2018.

In her spare time, Maxine likes to spend as much time as possible with friends and family as well as her adorable cockapoo dogs. When she has free time, she can also be found either: helping at her local Girl Guides where she is an assistant leader; hacking her way around the golf course; or trying to keep fit at the gym.
