Managing Director

Restructuring & Insolvency

Jeremy is a managing director in our growing North West team with extensive experience in restructuring, insolvency and advisory work, acting for secured lenders, asset-based lenders, directors and other stakeholders.

Specialist expertise

Throughout his career, Jeremy has advised directors, creditors, lenders and other stakeholders across a range of sectors on distressed and stressed trading positions with a focus on SMEs across the North West including situations where formal insolvency options are implemented and where informal solutions are required. He has done this with both for profit and not-for-profit entities across many sectors including manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, retail, leisure, property and not-for-profit (charities).

He works extensively with lenders and has previously completed a secondment with an asset-based lender, which provides him with valuable insight into the workings of a financial institution. He has also spent time overseas, working on a restructuring project in Romania where he privatised a large agro-industrial business.

Jeremy is a committee member of R3; and until 2019, when he retired through rotation, he was an active member of the ICAEW’s insolvency and restructuring group.
