Ian is a managing director and licensed insolvency practitioner whose career in the business advisory sector commenced in 1991. He is known for his “can do” approach and prides himself on providing innovative and effective solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Ian had previously spent 8 years with RBS where he qualified as what is now referred to as a Chartered Banker whilst working in the Law Department. He is a member of The Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

Ian covers all aspects of corporate insolvency and has expertise in providing personal insolvency solutions for guarantors, sole traders, partners and partnerships.  Having had first-hand experience of both a flotation on the Alternative Investment Market and setting up and running his own business, Ian understands the challenges businesses face.

Whilst Ian’s focus is now on servicing the Scottish Market, and growing the Quantuma business north of the border, he has worked throughout the UK during his career and has an extensive network to call upon.
