Specialist expertise

Chris is a managing director who works in the restructuring team and has nearly 20 years’ experience of restructuring and insolvency work. He regularly advises directors and shareholders of businesses, predominantly small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the construction, retail and manufacturing sectors, regarding their restructuring options.

Chris is a strong advocate of encouraging businesses to take early advice so practical solutions can be put in place. He also provides informal advisory solutions which may involve cash flow management and negotiating payment plans with creditors including HMRC. In addition, Chris advises on and accepts appointments on all UK formal insolvency matters, both corporate and personal. He also has extensive experience with businesses and individuals who have undertaken historic tax planning schemes, advising on the options available and implementing suitable strategies.

About Chris

Chris is a licensed insolvency practitioner and qualified accountant. He holds both the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency and Joint Insolvency Examination Board certification. He is also a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

When not spending time with his young family, Chris enjoys following the exploits of Wasps and Arsenal as well as taking a keen interest in open water swimming and triathlon.
