Specialist expertise
Barrie is a business development director in the London office. He is responsible for building successful and productive relationships with accountants, lawyers and other finance professionals in Central London.
With over 20 years’ experience, Barrie plays a key role in driving sales growth for the London-based team. He regularly organises networking events for fellow professionals which enable accountants and lawyers to meet as well as build lasting relationships with one another. Barrie has a very creative and collaborative approach to both building relationships as well as winning new work. He has an MBA from Imperial College, London, which was focused on entrepreneurship and included study trips to Northeast Asia. Barrie also has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from UCL.
About Barrie
Prior to joining Quantuma, Barrie worked for another specialist insolvency firm as head of sales. He was previously a sales director for a US software company, splitting his time between the Silicon Valley and UK, and before that, was the head of business development for an international professional body.
Outside of work, Barrie can sometimes be found doing his local Parkrun on a Saturday morning and regularly runs longer distances for charity. He also enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, amassing cook books and running around after his energetic daughter. Barrie is also an avid traveller and has a life-long interest in Russia.
