Tom is a licensed insolvency practitioner and has an extensive restructuring and insolvency background with over 15 years’ experience. He advises on all aspects of corporate restructuring and formal insolvency with a particular interest in cross-border engagements, having acted on a variety of international assignments across Europe and the offshore jurisdictions including the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Bermuda.
Tom's broad industry experience includes financial services, real estate, retail and construction and his clients range from SMEs to large multinationals, including entities registered in offshore jurisdictions.
Case highlights include successfully concluding an £85m dishonest assistance claim against auditors and the sale of a high street retailer out of administration resulting in 700 jobs being saved and 32 retail stores across Europe remaining open.
About Tom
Tom is a JIEB-qualified chartered accountant and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Prior to joining Quantuma, Tom was a restructuring and insolvency director at a Big Four firm in London and the Caribbean.
A former ironman triathlete, outside of work Tom now enjoys tinkering with his (occasionally) operational 1970 MGB classic car and being kept on his toes by his two young daughters.
