Specialist expertise
Sue has over 20 years’ experience working as a forensic accountant. She specialises in expert witness and other dispute advisory work within the context of commercial litigation, divorce, expert determination, and insolvency proceedings. She is also experienced in preparing non-contentious share and business valuations for tax, accounting and commercial purposes.
Sue has specialist expertise in claims arising from commercial and contractual disputes, business interruption and disturbance, professional negligence and investor fraud. She regularly undertakes contentious business valuations in respect of matrimonial proceedings and shareholder disputes and acts on behalf of claimants and defendants. She prepares loss of profit calculations as well as clear and robust party submissions for expert determination, addressing multiple issues in completion accounts disputes.
Sue has worked with some high-net-worth individuals, as well as family offices, family trusts, partnerships, and companies, including early-stage and/or fast-growing private equity-backed businesses with complex debt and capital structures.
About Sue
Sue trained as an accountant with a mid-tier firm before joining the forensic services group of a Big Four firm, working for both UK and international clients.
After 11 years, she joined a small Surrey-based firm before moving in-house to work as a shadow valuation expert in a national specialist family law firm, advising on complex and high-value divorce finance cases.
She subsequently spent four years specialising in share and business valuations at a Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm in London. She joined Quantuma in 2025.
Outside of work, Sue enjoys weight training, running, walking in the countryside and cookery classes. Sue is married with two young children.
