Specialist expertise
Richard has ten years’ experience as a forensic accountant, supporting clients with expert witness and dispute advisory matters, valuations and financial investigations.
He advises claimants or defendants on assessing quantum in claims relating to commercial disputes, such as contractual disputes, and loss of earnings due to business interruption. Richard has experience working across a number of sectors including real estate, manufacturing, transport and logistics, and the public sector.
Richard is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist.
About Richard
Prior to joining Quantuma, Richard worked for ten years in the forensic practice at one of the Big Four, both in the UK and New Zealand. In his UK role, Richard primarily focused on corporate investigations into fraud and other financial irregularities. After obtaining his accounting qualification, he spent three years in New Zealand working in a role focusing on predominantly contractual and shareholder disputes.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys travelling and exploring new countries, cultures, and cuisines. He also enjoys hiking, attempting to make good coffee at home, and going to see live music and comedy.
