Specialist expertise
Nick has over eight years' of experience in insolvency. He oversees a diverse and complex portfolio of insolvency cases, with a core focus on Scottish Personal Insolvency.
He has specialist expertise in investigations and asset identification in complex or non-cooperative insolvency appointments, including sequestrations, bankruptcy, and liquidations. He also has experience providing debt advice.
Nick works with individuals struggling with debt issues, directors of limited companies, and creditors involved in debt collection or insolvency proceedings.
In 2025, Nick passed his Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) Personal Insolvency exams.
About Nick
Prior to joining Quantuma, Nick entered the insolvency profession as a debt advisor, providing tailored financial advice to individuals in financial difficulty. He then founded a debt advisory business, supporting clients with the preparation of Trust Deed proposals and bankruptcy applications. After two years, he joined a boutique insolvency practice, expanding his skillset to focus on corporate insolvency and post-appointment case administration.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys socialising and is a keen football and American football fan. Nick devotes some of his free time to volunteering and charity work. He is the director of the local half marathon, where he organises and liaises with relevant third-party bodies.
