Karl works alongside M&A and financial advisory for funding and refinancing. He has worked on a range of assignments advising management, investors, lenders and potential acquirers in small to mid-cap corporates, whilst also providing specialist advice to companies looking for a managed exit.

Karl prides himself on being well-informed and staying up-to-date with market intelligence in a fragmented and fast changing sector. Having worked in the industry for the majority of his professional life, he has first-hand commercial insight into the challenges clients face and uses his specialist knowledge to fully understand their position and find the best funding solution long-term.

Examples of Karl’s work include cash flow funding for a share recap in a small regional builder; cash flow funding for acquisition finance for a PE; ABL for a large engineering business; cash flow funding for a business services client; and restructuring finance for a hospitality business.

About Karl

Karl started his career as a qualified chartered accountant before becoming a licensed insolvency practitioner in 2004. After a successful 11 years in the insolvency market he moved into banking and became a Financial Director at a mid-cap HVAC business before making the move into debt advisory.

In his spare time Karl enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and also enjoys staying active, you’ll often find him on the golf course or running in his local area.
