Gary passed his Joint Insolvency Examination Board exams in 1994 to become a licensed insolvency practitioner taking appointments shortly thereafter.

Having spent 16 years at an independent corporate turnaround and restructuring specialist, Gary established an insolvency practice for a North West accountancy practice. Prior to joining Quantuma in 2020, Gary ran his own restructuring and insolvency business for 10 years.

Gary is a restructuring specialist; he assists management and stakeholders in providing advice and solutions to enable businesses to find the optimal route for dealing with the difficulties being experienced. His sector experience is deep and varied, but with a particular focus in logistics and manufacturing.

Gary is an appointment-taking director working in the corporate recovery and insolvency team based in Manchester. He provides advice to accountants, lenders, solicitors, and directors of small to medium-sized businesses of all sectors. In particular, Gary provides practical strategies and solutions both formally and informally.

Gary has operated his own practice, providing practical and technical advice in all forms of insolvency and in relation to solvent restructuring through members voluntary liquidations and S110 Schemes.

About Gary

Outside of work, Gary is a long-standing follower of the blue side of Manchester’s football teams. He also continues to cling on to his youth by attending music gigs whenever he can.
