Andy is an insolvency specialist; his expertise include preparing proposals for independent voluntary arrangements and assisting in investigations as well as recovery of bankruptcy assets.
Andy is an assistant manager responsible for managing and overseeing personal and corporate insolvencies and is based in Brighton. In respect of personal insolvency cases, he handles individual voluntary arrangements, liaising with debtors and creditors to reach positions that are fair and realistic. He also assists in investigations as well as the recovery of both disclosed and undisclosed bankruptcy assets.
In addition, Andy works on a number of corporate matters, including: members, creditors and compulsory liquidations; administrations; and compulsory voluntary arrangements. This involves reporting to creditors and liaising with directors, solicitors, accountants and agents to achieve the best outcome for creditors generally. Part of this work includes undertaking investigations into antecedent transactions.
Andy has worked on a wide range of insolvency appointments including a mushroom farm, smoked salmon manufacturer, a private medical facility as well as plumbers, barristers and architects. He holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency, Accounting and Related Services and is qualified chartered accountant. He has been working in insolvency since he finished university in 2001, joining Quantuma in November 2013 as a senior insolvency administrator, before being promoted to an assistant manager in October 2014.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys travelling and keeping fit by attending the gym twice a week.
