Adam is a managing director in our Forensic Accounting & Investigations team and acts in an advisory or expert capacity on a range of litigation, arbitration, and expert determination matters. He is responsible for developing our forensic accounting capability in Continental Europe, as well as strengthening our international arbitration practice in the UK and globally.

Specialist expertise

Adam advises clients on economic damages, in an advisory or expert capacity with a specific focus on litigation and arbitration matters including investment valuation, and accounting analysis. He is a qualified accountant, fraud examiner, investment analyst, and risk manager. He advises both public and private companies from a wide range of industries, as well as individuals and states.

Adam is typically retained in matters involving non-performing contracts (i.e. lost profits, expenditure incurred), troubled investments (e.g. investor v state), post-M&A disputes (i.e. closing accounts, earn-outs, breaches of representations and warranties), shareholder disagreements (i.e. buyouts, squeeze-outs, joint-ventures) and accounting malpractice (e.g. misrepresentations in financial statements). He has also acted as an expert in competition disputes (e.g. overcharges) and restructuring cases (e.g. pre-pack proceedings) and

Adam has supported clients in contentious matters across much of Europe (including Poland, France, and the UK) as well as in the Middle East and Asia. He also deals with arbitrations (both commercial and investment, under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, LAC, LCIA, Lewiatan, SAKIG, UNCITRAL, VIAC), expert determination (in post-M&A disputes) and mediations/negotiations.

About Adam

Before joining Quantuma, Adam spent over 15 years in audit (IFRS, US GAAP, PAS) and financial advisory (business and IP valuation), mostly in Big Four firms, eventually leading the forensic dispute service offering in Deloitte Central Europe. He also spent three years as a corporate finance manager.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and is passionate about sports, guitar, Lego and data science.
