Quantuma expands into Southampton’s new Town Quay offices

Corporate recovery specialists Quantuma has moved into Southampton’s thriving Town Quay development to accommodate its expanding team.

The company, previously based at Marsh Lane, Southampton, will become the latest addition to the marina after signing an agreement to lease 3,000 sq ft of office space from commercial property agents Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

Quantuma, which specialises in business restructuring and recovery, will occupy Office D at Beresford House, becoming the latest in a long list of high-profile companies in the region to take up space in the waterside offices.

Other top tenants include NHS Shared Business Services, Cogeco Peer One and Red Funnel.

Carl Jackson, managing partner at Quantuma, said: “We are recruiting several staff here in Southampton and are thrilled to be moving to these prestigious new offices.

“We like how the Town Quay property has been configured to accommodate our growing team, and feel we’ll benefit from what’s quickly developing into one of Southampton’s top business locations.

“It all fits into our wider plan to increase our footprint and brand presence across the UK, advising businesses on their structure and how to make best use of their assets.”

Andy Gibbs, a surveyor in LSH’s south coast team, said: “We’re delighted to have helped the team at Quantuma find their perfect new home.

“Town Quay is a superb mixed use development which offers some of the most impressive office space in the region.

“We are currently in talks with several potential occupiers who are interested in joining Quantuma at this unique, stunning, and well-serviced location.

“The continued success of Town Quay as a business area reflects the general optimism we are seeing in the economy in Southampton and beyond.”

Town Quay, owned by Associated British Ports, offers a total of 90,000 square feet of prime waterside office space with parking, newly-refurbished common areas, a Starbucks coffee shop and spectacular views over Southampton Water.

The accommodation is next to ferry terminals serving the Isle of Wight and Hythe, and close to rail and road links as well as being a short distance to the city centre and Ocean Village.

The Town Quay area is part of the Platform for Prosperity scheme, run by Southampton City Council, which has included measures such as a new dual carriageway to ease congestion in the area.
