The Group formerly employed 25 members of staff, however, a number were recently made redundant with nine employees retained to support the business and assist the joint administrators fulfil their duties.

Frank Wessley Parnter at Quantuma and joint administrator said: “Over a number of weeks we have been advising the directors of John Anderson Hire Ltd and supporting them to assess their options. It is with regret that there has been no other option but to place the business into administration.
“It has been widely reported that the onset of the current lockdown, the uncertainty of its duration combined with low public confidence has had a drastic effect on the events industry at large and as a consequence its supply chain has also been critically affected.

“We are seeking to secure a sale of the business and assets in these challenging times and would invite interested parties to make early contact.”
