As part of its continued expansion, cross-border advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Sam Gaunt as a London-based managing director in its Restructuring and Insolvency team.
Sam has over 20 years’ experience in mid-market and large complex restructurings across multiple sectors; she is an insolvency practitioner and specialises in advising both lenders and corporates in times of distress.

Sam joins Quantuma from a top-tier independent advisory firm where she spent four years as a Director. Prior to that, she spent over 12 years in the restructuring team of a Big Four practice which included four years on the leadership team. Sam also had two previous roles with Big Four firms, which included six years in Ireland where she focussed on both restructuring and forensic work.
Sam’s arrival at Quantuma follows the recent appointments of Tom Parish and Hannah Griffin in January of this year and Tracey Pye last Autumn, all of whom joined the firm as managing directors.
