Thames Valley Autumn Budget briefing breakfast

27 November 2025 08:00
Event
Grovefield House Hotel
The Autumn Budget takes place on Wednesday 26th November and in a rare pre-Budget speech, Rachel Reeves has refused to rule out tax rises with speculation mounting over changes to income tax, VAT and National Insurance rates.

With an anticipated downgrade to the economic and fiscal outlook from the Office for Budget Responsibility, the Chancellor will be under increasing pressure to break the Government’s manifesto promise making higher taxes almost inevitable.

Areas in the firing line include further adjustments to CGT, additional changes to pensions and a levy designed to raise at least £2bn from the financial services industry. And the Government has failed to rule out freezing tax thresholds, a mansion tax and adding VAT to private health insurance.

We are delighted to welcome back guest speaker Jeremy Mindell to deliver our Autumn Budget update on Thursday 27th November at Grovefield House Hotel. He’ll explore the implications of the Chancellor's decisions and discuss her vision for economic stability and growth.
Jeremy will be joined by a panel of experts from our Thames Valley team.
