About Me:

Skiing is my favourite outdoor activity and I try to get out to the snow as much as I can during the winter months.

I am a befriender for the Meningitis Research Foundation following personal experience of the disease when my son James was taken ill, and I use my experiences to help other parents supporting their children through this devastating disease.

I share my home with my husband, two sons who are now in further education and my 4 rescue dogs. I am involved with a number of dog rescue and welfare charities which is another passion of mine.
I love listening to music and attending live events. I have a keen interest in the history of youth and club culture, and I particularly enjoy dance music especially funk, soul and Jazz.
