Andrew is a restructuring specialist; his expertise include advising on financial and operational matters as well as carrying out independent business reviews. His sector experience includes hospitality and leisure, as well as real estate and construction.
Specialist expertise
Andrew is a managing director in the restructuring team and is a licensed insolvency practitioner, operating across the South coast. Based in the Southampton office, Andrew specialises in advising the directors of distressed owner managed and mid-market businesses, as well as their stakeholders on a range of financial and operational matters. Andrew also works with the asset-based lending community, advising them on a range of matters, and delivering independent business reviews for a range of lenders using his significant experience in this area.
Andrew has experience in a wide range of business sectors. Recently, he advised clients in the aerospace sector on the restructuring and subsequent sale of a number of businesses operating aircrafts in both the UK and overseas. He has also advised a number of directors of businesses operating in the hospitality and leisure sector, ranging from casual dining outlets to leisure facilities. In addition, Andrew has extensive experience of working with businesses operating in the real estate and construction sectors, including others in ancillary sectors. He recently advised the charge holder of an incomplete residential property development and was subsequently appointed joint administrator and oversaw the completion of the site, whilst managing a series of challenges from residents' associations, the local authority and service providers.
About Andrew
Andrew is an affiliate member of the The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a holder of the accreditation from the Joint Insolvency Examinations Board. In additon, Andrew is an active member, and former chair of the Southern Region committee of the Association of Business Restructuring Professionals.
In his spare time, Andrew is a keen sports fan, especially football and rugby. He also enjoys clay pigeon shooting.
