Alyson is a senior manager based in the Southampton team. She has worked in restructuring, insolvency and turnaround for almost 13 years and qualified as an insolvency practitioner in 2008.

She has worked for both a boutique and a larger firm enabling her to gain experience of many insolvency situations, from small owner managed businesses to larger multi-million pound turnover companies.

Alyson has gained considerable experience dealing with all types of insolvency procedures, including liquidations, administrations, company and individual voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies. She has also undertaken many solvent liquidations.

In recent years Alyson has been involved in the orderly wind down of a care home in the south, the administration of a large boat manufacturer situated on the Isle of Wight and also an estate agent.

Alyson studied for a degree in law. During her career, she has worked for both a boutique and a national firm and this enabled her to gain extensive experience of many individuals and companies undergoing financial difficulties. These clients have ranged from small owner managed businesses to larger multi-million pound turnover companies, covering all types of insolvency and recovery procedures, namely liquidations, administrations, company and individual voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies.

She has also provided advice and assistance with many solvent liquidations, enabling clients to wind down their businesses and receive capital distributions in a tax efficient manner.
