Caroline Lowes of Quantuma secures top place in national examination

carolineQuantuma’s Caroline comes top in UK

Caroline Lowes is celebrating coming top in the UK in a major professional exam.

An insolvency administrator in the Marlow office of business restructuring and recovery specialist Quantuma, she came first in the Insolvency Practitioners Association’ Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI).

The certificate confirms proficiency in the basics of insolvency and is regarded as a gateway towards further professional development and the possibility of attaining licenced practitioner status in the future should that be the ambition.

Caroline is wisely insisting she is taking things one step at a time.

She said: “I am absolutely thrilled at gaining my CPI and being a prize winner too.

“I worked hard and got the results, and in doing so I received great support from Quantuma partners and colleagues who helped no end in offering advice and guidance.”

She is part of the firm’s technical team and joined Quantuma at the end of 2013 initially in a support role, having previously worked in market research and HR.

She said: “I liked the people and I liked what they were doing.

“I decided I wanted a bigger part in that and approached the partners accordingly. When the opportunity came up I jumped at it.”

The University of Essex graduate grew up in High Wycombe and was sufficiently confident about her prospects that just 12 days after sitting the exam she bought a house in the town!

Congratulating her, Quantuma partner Frank Wessely said: “It is fantastic news for both Caroline and Quantuma, and a further testament to the quality of our staff.”
